There are two types of procedure: regular and urgent. The regular procedure takes about 30 days, while the urgent procedure can speed up the process significantly, but at a higher cost. In case of loss, theft, or damage of the passport, a police report should be obtained and submitted during the application. It is only possible to hold one valid Croatian passport at a time.
