Procedure

  1. Visit the official website of Fábrica Nacional De Moneda Y Timbre FNMT .
  2. Fill out the digital form with your personal data.
  3. After completing the form, you’ll receive a verification code via email.
  4. Then, make an appointment with the Spain embassy or consulate abroad or public registry office in Spain to validate your identity. You’ll need to present your verification code and an identity document.
  5. After validating your identity, download and install the certificate on your computer.

Please note that the digital certificate has to be renewed every year.
