Procedure

  1. Make an appointment online for DNI renewal at this website
  2. Visit the police station or consulate at the time of your appointment.
  3. Bring along the necessary documents.
  4. Once there, they will take your fingerprints and photo.
  5. Pay the fee and your new DNI will be issued to you.

  • First, the expired DNI.
  • Secondly, a recent passport size photograph.
  • If you are a resident in Spain, also bring a proof of address (e.g., a utility bill).
  • If you are a non-resident, bring your passport and document that proves your foreign residence.
