What is it?

Ingreso Mínimo Vital (Minimum Living Income) is a social aid provided by the Spanish government to ensure a minimum level of income for people and families living in Spain who are in a situation of economic vulnerability.

Individuals and families living in Spain who are in a situation of economic vulnerability are eligible to apply for Ingreso Mínimo Vital.

Procedure

  1. Download the application form and fill in all necessary details.
  2. Submit the completed application form along with all necessary supporting documents at the Provincial Directorate or Administrative Office of the Social Security Treasury General. You can also send it by ordinary mail.
  3. After submitting, the Spanish Social Security will evaluate your economic situation based on the documents provided.
  4. If your application is approved, you will start receiving the Ingreso Mínimo Vital.
